- Kiya Cotton
Kiya, was just 3yrs old when we adopted her after she was found in a Animal Hoarding/Drug Making Home by Local& Fed Police. She was the only rabbit in a house rasing fighting dogs. She was highly agressive, barked when approached and DID NOT ALLOW males near her. From the moment we saw her very small petite fluffing Queen..we knew she would be a perfect match for our Goonie filled home. We had 1 bonded pair& 1 lonely lionhead, Piko, all rescues. She was matted, dirty&smelled so bad when we brought her home she went straight to grooming for the next 2 days and straight to Our Vet of all our buns. After a exam she felt strange lumps inside Kiya. A Xray showed all her parts were un different areas and grown into ea other, our vet said due to Over breeding. She would never be able to be fixed as it would be too dangerous. Kiya would spend time in a cotton Hobo bag I would wear around the house to let her feel me near and learn to trust. When i would sit she would come.out and run back in the bag for her safe place if another bunny woild dare to jump on the couch near us. Kiya learned afer 6 months we were her safe family & foreve home. She did not like the boys at 1st but soon chose Piko our Lionhead as her Bond. They always stayed beside ea other. She loved.costume time..i made ruffle dresses, tshirts, hats. She loved to in the sun in her suit of the day & wait for adoration from the fam & buns. The Butterfly wings signal so much for Kiya..New Life, New Love & Royal Standing amungst her Buns.
