Midwest BunFest 2020 Event Information
Midwest BunFest 2020 is going Virtual
Your Midwest BunFest Planning Team is very excited about constructing a great, multi-day virtual experience for all of our bunny-loving friends. Virtual Midwest BunFest, hosted by Ohio House Rabbit Rescue, will be held October 21 – 25, 2020.
Ways you can participate:
Education Sessions through Video on Demand
Educating current and potential rabbit owners is a key mission of Midwest BunFest. Our Education Sessions have always been a very popular part of the in-person BunFest. Now, in 2020, people from across the country can “attend” these sessions to learn about rabbit health, behavior and more. We have confirmed 15-20 outstanding sessions by presenters including rabbit-savvy veterinarians, Certified House Rabbit Society Educators, and veteran rescue partners. There will be a $20 charge to view the sessions 24/7 for 10 days. A listing of sessions and presenters will be available shortly.
An Engaging Daily Program
Differing each day, several features will be offered, including live streaming or recorded videos of short free educational presentations about high-interest topics, information about high-quality products or services, live chat opportunities, virtual visits to rabbit rescues across the Midwest, and more.
On-line Auction
A fast-paced Silent Auction with over 50 bunny-themed items offered to the highest bidder.
A Photo Contest
Several categories for entries will provide a fun and engaging way for you to share your best photos of your bunny buddies. Winners will be chosen in each category as people cast their votes for $1 each.
Special T-shirts of the Year
This year’s design has a great “Safe at Home” logo and will be available in a variety of colors and styles.
Midwest BunFest Virtual Village
A virtual interactive space where Sponsors, Vendors, and Rescue Partners will have links to their websites, on-line stores, etc. to showcase products and services.
All funds raised through Midwest BunFest benefit the rabbits in the care of Ohio House Rabbit Rescue.
