Dear Potential Midwest BunFest Vendors,
We would like to invite you to be a vendor at the eighth annual Midwest BunFest, being held Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Northland Performing Arts Center, 4411 Tamarack Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43229. This signature event, organized by the Ohio House Rabbit Rescue (OHRR), provides a cost effective investment for vendors and builds excitement around pet rabbits while educating owners about their care.
Midwest BunFest (MWBF) is a multi-state educational exposition for current and potential pet rabbit owners providing products, information, advice, and support related to house rabbits. This event is designed to serve current and potential rabbit owners (and their rabbits) through displays, services, merchandise, and presentations provided by animal welfare educators, veterinarians, animal rescue groups, vendors, and corporate sponsors. The event features Educational Presentations, the Bunny Spa, Glamour Shots, Hop Shop (a rabbit supply store), Vendors, and a Silent Auction/Raffle. To promote the event, OHRR partners with over 15 rabbit rescue organizations from Ohio and surrounding states. In 2017 Midwest BunFest was attended by nearly 1,000 people and 250 rabbits.
Ohio House Rabbit Rescue (OHRR) is dedicated to operating a Center for rescued, abandoned pet rabbits, offering a robust adoption program, and providing educational resources and programming on the proper care of house rabbits. OHRR envisions a community where all pet rabbits live indoors as companions and have access to a proper diet, habitat, and regular veterinary care for the duration of their life. The proceeds from Midwest BunFest support this important work.
Publicity for the event is very comprehensive, including both print and electronic media. All of the rescue partners advertise BunFest to their members and their regional animal welfare community. Additionally vendors are listed for up to 4 months on the Midwest BunFest website and will be promoted through the MWBF Facebook page.
We would like to invite your business to apply to participate as a vendor.
A description of the cost and requirements for involvement is attached. Due to space limitations, OHRR will review all applications and select vendors that best match the focus of Midwest BunFest and the mission of OHRR.
A First-time Vendor Application Form is provided to indicate your interest to participate in our event. Please understand that we must receive your application form and payment by July 15, 2018 to fully consider your business in our decision process. If there is not space available for all the vendors that apply to attend and are approved, new vendors will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. You may apply as early as you wish. If you apply after July 15, space may not be available and promotion of your business may be limited. You will receive notification of acceptance no later than July 31, 2018.
For your information, Midwest BunFest does not support the breeding of domestic rabbits for any reason, including but not limited to showmanship, ownership, or for the sale of meat. Please be advised that Midwest BunFest strictly prohibits the use of displays, promotional materials, or merchandise that promotes the breeding of domestic rabbits.

If this will be your FIRST time participating in Midwest BunFest as a Vendor, your Information Packet and Registration form is here:
First-time Vendor Application Forms may be submitted via regular USPS or electronically via email (see form and information packet found on this page for further information). Your application and payment is due no later than July 15, 2018, however you may still apply and make payment to participate after July 15. Selection of first-time vendors will be made at the sole discretion of the Midwest BunFest Planning Committee and will be based upon completion of application form and payment, suitability of your product and services for our audience, your business’s alignment with OHRR’s mission, and available space. You will be notified of acceptance by July 31, 2018 .
MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA
We do quite a bit of social network messaging and advertising as we get closer to the event and would like to include messages about the vendors who will be at Midwest BunFest 2018. We typically post logos, with information about your shop, links to your website and pictures of the items you may be bringing with you for sale. This is a great time to drum up excitement for your store.
If you would like to be included in promotional messaging and on our Midwest BunFest website, please send us a copy of your logo (in .jpeg format) and a description of your shop, as soon as possible, so we can tell our "Followers" all about it. If you have a website or Facebook page that we can include, that would also be great. Pictures/logos/images should be sent as a .jpeg image with a sRGB color profile. If you are a Vendor who has participated in previous year Midwest BunFest events, please use the registration form that was emailed to you on June 1, 2018 from "dican49".
On behalf of the Ohio House Rabbit Rescue (OHRR) and the Midwest BunFest 2018 team I would like to thank you again for your participation last year at BunFest. We would like to invite you to join us as a vendor for our 2018 event being held on Saturday, October 27 from 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Northland Performing Arts Center, 4411 Tamarack Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43229.
The Northland Performing Arts Center (NPAC), the same site we used for BunFest since 2015, is a non-profit performing arts and event center serving the central Ohio community and touring performing arts organizations since 2011. This site provides plenty of space for the event, free parking and easy access to major highways--and the staff couldn't be nicer and more accommodating for us and THE BUNNIES!
Attached you will find one document with two parts.
1. Midwest BunFest 2018 Vendor Information Packet--Please read it carefully.
2. Returning Vendor 2018 Registration Form BELOW. This provides us with important information about your company, your consent to our Vendor Agreement and your payment options.
Please complete your registration form and submit with payment as early as possible but no later than Friday, July 15, 2018. Returning vendors who register by this date will automatically be accepted as a Midwest BunFest 2018 vendor. The sooner we receive your registration form, the sooner we can start promoting your participation.
