Become A Midwest Bunfest 2017 Rescue Partner!
Midwest Bunfest 2017 Rescue Partner information
Greetings Rescue Partners;
The Ohio House Rabbit Rescue (OHRR) and the Midwest BunFest team are pleased to invite you to join us as a Rescue Partner for our 2017 event being held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM at the Northland Performing Arts Center, 4411 Tamarack Blvd. , Columbus , Ohio 43229.
The Northland Performing Arts Center, NPAC is a non-profit performing arts and event center serving the central Ohio community and local and touring performing arts organizations. Opened in 2011, NPAC occupies around 35,000 square feet of event and meeting space for groups of up to 1,500 people. We are thrilled with this location; plenty of space for the event, free parking, close to the highway and they couldn't be nicer and more accommodating for us and THE BUNNIES!
We ask that, as a Rescue Partner Organization you please complete and submit your registration application as early as possible, and no later than July 31, 2017. The Rescue Partner Registration Application can be downloaded by clicking below.
Please use this form to submit your requests. Registration Applications materials and payments can be sent to the address listed at the bottom of the form.
We are pleased to announce that Adrienne Lang will once again serve as our Midwest BunFest Rescue Partner Coordinator! Adrienne will be working with you to help facilitate your Midwest BunFest experience. She will be collecting Registration and tracking your requirements, sharing information on FaceBook and through the Website on who our partners are and where they are located. Adrienne will coordinate with you to answer questions and will help our Event chairs figure out who needs what and where. She is your single point of contact for all things Midwest BunFest and can be reached at: Lang80@gmail.com or call/text: (614) 316-7625.
In the upcoming weeks, we will be communicating with you (at the email address on your application) about additional plans and schedules. You can also check out our Face Book page (https://www.facebook.com/MidwestBunFest/ ) and here on the Midwest BunFest website (www.midwestbunfest.org ) to keep abreast of “all things” Midwest BunFest!
Table Requests
As was the case last year, this year we must again rent tables and chairs for the event from a third party provider and we are asking our Rescue Partners to pitch-in to cover the cost of the tables and chairs.
Each 8 foot rectangular table comes with delivery/set-up/tear-down, plastic table cloth and 2 folding chairs.
Pricing for Rescue Partner tables:
• The first Rescue Partner table is “at cost” $20.00
• A second table can be made available to Rescue Partners, also “at cost” $20.00.
• A third table may be available in limited numbers at $40.00.
Due to high demand and in hopes to accommodate everyone, we are limiting the number of tables and amount of floor space each Rescue Partner may use. No more than 3, 8 foot tables and if you are bringing a bunny, 1, 4x4 X-pen ( or the equivalent floor space ) will be available.
A 3 table maximum will be allotted for each Rescue Partner Organization. Please note, in previous years, folks have used considerable floor space with merchandise displays in addition to their table(s). If you plan on bringing your own floor displays, please limit the size to 4' x 8' footprint (roughly the size of one of the event tables) and it will be counted as one of your tables.
Additional 4x4 space will be allotted, free of charge, to those Rescue Partners who are planning to bring bunnies with them to Midwest BunFest. This is in addition to the table space you have requested and is intended for an x-pen or other appropriate accommodations for our fuzzy friends. If you indicated on your Rescue Partner form, that you will be bringing rabbits, we will automatically create a space adjacent to your table. If you did not indicate that you were bringing a rabbit on your form, but have decided to bring one with you, please email Adrienne at Lang80@gmail.com with your request no later than August 30, 2017, so we can consider your spacing needs as we do the floor plan.
Access to Electric Outlets and Wireless Internet
The Northland Performing Arts Center offers free un-secured wireless access in the conference rooms, lobby and public areas.
Access to electrical power will be provided at each Rescue Partner area. The facility will provide an electrical connection mostly dropped down from the ceiling, when they set up the tables prior to our arrival. Every Rescue Partner area will have one power source, please bring your own power strips, extension cords and adapters that you will need for your tables. Once the tables are set up in the room, we will not be able to “add” more cords or service.
Marketing and Social Media
Please remember to promote BunFest with all of your supporters, as we will promote your rescue through our BunFest marketing and social media channels.
We do quite a bit of Social Network messaging and advertising as we get closer to the event and would like to include messages about the Rescue Partners who will be at Midwest BunFest this year. We typically post logos, with information about your Rescue Organization, links to your websites and pictures of the items you may be bringing with you for fundraising purposes. This is a great time to drum up excitement for your table.
If you would like to be included in promotional messaging and on our Midwest BunFest website; we ask that you send us a copy of your logo (in .jpeg format) and a description of your organization, as soon as possible, so we can tell our "Followers" all about it. If you have a website or Facebook page that we can include, that would also be great. Pictures/logos/images should be sent as a JPEG image with a sRGB color profile. Pictures and descriptions can be sent to us, via email at marybethparisi@gmail.com . If you have participated in past years, Mary Beth may already have your logo, etc. Contact her to confirm that and let her know if any changes are needed.
We think this is going to be our best Midwest BunFest yet! Thank you again for your participation in our event. We look forward to seeing you in September! Should you have any questions or concerns, at any stage of the process, please contact Adrienne Lang at Lang80@gmail.com .
Sincerely,
Adrienne Lang, Rescue Partner Coordinator for Midwest BunFest
